While losing some points for the higher price point I simply can’t get past their quality and comfort and the fact that they are barely visible is simply an added bonus. If you’ve got the money to invest I would highly recommend a pair of Earasers
#2 – Etymotic Research ER20 Earplugs
For those on a budget or just trying out earplugs for the first time you can’t go past the mixture of quality and price that the ER20’s provide. A great entry level product that would suit most punters and DJ’s alike.
#3 – V-Moda Faders – Tuned Metal Earplugs
A great metal design with solid performance however however they may protrude too far for some DJ headphones. Great for punters and band members but not my top pick for DJs.
#4 – DUBS Advanced Acoustic Filters
A solid mix of purpose and fashion makes the DUBS a hit with punters however they may leave the musicians wanting a little bit more out of then quality wise.
#5 – LiveMus!c HearSafe Earplugs
These earplugs have much higher sound dampening than the other four which when tested in a live environment made me feel too disconnected from the environment. They are great for extremely loud scenarios and will definitely find their place among drummers and bands but seem overkill for most DJ environments.
